About Suffolk Threads

Suffolk has a rich history when it comes to yarn and cloth - wool, silk, hemp & flax were part of a thriving cloth trade dating from medieval times.  With a personal ancestry linked to Huguenot weavers and lacemakers, all-things textile is in the blood.

Suffolk Threads is about that local history and my heritage - selected yarns woven or knitted to make contemporary pieces using hand-made and traditional techniques.
